Well y’all, we heard her say it. Daytime talk show host Wendy Williams confirmed that she will be returning to television later this year.

Wendy was seen going to rapper Cardi B‘s Met Gala after-party event on Monday night. She was asked by a TMZ reporter if she would be returning in September, and Wendy let out a resounding “YES!”

Wendy hasn’t been on her show due to health issues but guest hosts have been holding it down during her absence. Fan-favorite Sherri Shepherd was recently offered the position as permanent guest host, and then eventually offered a show of her own. Sherri shared the news on the Wendy Williams Show.

A few of The Wendy Williams Show‘s employees will be working on “Sherri,” which is set to premiere in September 2022.

Details of Wendy’s return are unclear at the time but she is looking great!
