Rapper, Flo Rida, 6-Year-Old Son In ICU After Falling From A Five-Story Apartment Building

Flo Rida’s 6-year-old son, Zohar Dillard, is currently in ICU after falling from a fifth-floor apartment window earlier this month. The boy’s mother, Alexis Adams, is currently looking to file a lawsuit against the apartment complex.

According to News 12 New Jersey, Adams claims that the Jersey City building was equipped with “windows that posed a hazardous condition.” She stated that these windows allowed her son to fall on the concrete pavement three weeks ago, causing him to have serious injuries.

Reports state that Zohar is a special needs child and has been diagnosed with autism and a condition called hydrocephalus. As a result of the fall, he, unfortunately, suffered a shattered pelvis, left metatarsal fractures, a Grade 3 liver laceration, internal bleeding, and collapsed lungs, according to Daily Voice. As of today, Zohar still remains in ICU.

Adams released a statement saying:

“As a single mom to a special needs child, this feels like a nightmare. My heart is broken into a million pieces. I am devastated, angry, and struggling to come to terms with the fact that my only child has suffered severe injuries due to the willful negligence of our landlord and others involved in failing to take necessary safety measures”.

News 12 New Jersy reports that Adams repeatedly requested window guards but she was ignored.

Adams filed the lawsuit with the Hudson County Superior Court. She is seeking an unspecified amount when it comes to compensation for treating the injuries Zohar suffered.

Flo Rida isn’t named directly in the lawsuit.

Prayers up for Zohar! Wishing him a speedy recovery.
