Dr. Dre Agrees To Pay Nicole Young $100 Million In Divorce Settlement

Dr. Dre scored a big win in his divorce case. He reached a property settlement with his ex-wife and sources say the rap mogul is “delighted”.

Dre, real name Andre Young, agreed to pay his ex-wife Nicole Young $100 million. The former couple signed the documents stating that Nicole will get $50 million now, and the other $50 million in another year.

Dre’s estate is worth $820 million dollars but Nicole is only getting a fraction of it because there’s a prenup. She tried to contest it but the agreement stood valid.

In exchange for the funds, Dre gets to keep all 7 of their properties: a Malibu home, 2 houses in Calabasas, 4 properties in L.A., and their $100 million Brentwood estate.

Dre also keeps full rights to his master recordings, trademarks, Apple stocks, and all profits from Beats by Dre.

The settlement also revealed that they split their vehicles: she gets 4 of them and Dre gets 6.

Nicole also gets to keep her jewelry, cash, and bank accounts she accumulated during the marriage; however, she has to pay her own legal fees – which is said to be in the millions.

The settlement puts an end to Nicole’s ability to ask for spousal support.

Earlier this month, Dre revealed that he and Nicole were officially divorced and now that the money issue is resolved, this closes a chapter in their lives.
