‘Terminator’ Actor Earl Boen Has Died At 81

We are saddened to learn about the passing of Earl Boen, who died at the age of 81. The veteran actor is best known for his role as Dr. Peter Silberman in ‘The Terminator’ movies. Boen was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer in the fall of 2022, according to Variety. He died Thursday in Hawaii.

Boen has over four decades career in TV. Credits include “The Streets of San Francisco,” “Hawaii Five-O,” “Wonder Woman,” “Who’s The Boss”,

“Police Woman,” “Barnaby Jones”, “The Dukes of Hazzard,” “Soap,” “Three’s Company,” “Fantasy Island,” “The Golden Girls,” “The Wonder Years”, “Alf”,  “Matlock”, “Seinfeld”, “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, and the Rev. Lloyd Meechum  on the 1980s sitcom “Mama’s Family”.

Boen also has film credits that include ‘Battle Beyond the Stars’, ‘The Man With Two Brains’, ‘Alien Nation’, ‘Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult’, ‘Marked For Death’, ‘9 to 5’, and “Nutty Professor II: The Klumps.”

Boen was also very active in the voice-over field. He was known for voicing characters such as Mr. Bleakman in “Clifford the Big Red Dog,” Police Chief Kanifky in “Bonkers,” the Narrator in World of Warcraft, and Captain LeChuck in the “Monkey Island” series.

Boen is survived by his wife Cathy, his stepdaughter Ruby and two grandchildren, Kimmy Abaricia and Kimo Harbin.

Boen was truly a prolific actor with so many talents, to say the least. He will forever be in our hearts.
