Soulja Boy’s Soap Company Triples In Profits Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

Soulja Boy tells Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club that he and manager/CEO Miami Mike have invested in a soap company, The Soap Shop.

The 29-year old rapper said their sales have tripled following the outbreak of COVID-19. They have gone from selling 100 bottles of cleaning products per month to well over 3,000-plus cleaning products in the last 2 months. That’s about a 3,000 percent increase.

The company sells hand soap, dish detergent, and other cleaning products. They have strawberry, coconut, and pomegranate-scented detergents. The company owns one storefront in South Haven, MS.

The company has connected itself with two charities called Bubbles for Cash Fundraiser and Books for Tots Fundraiser. They provide them with products and whatever they sale they can keep a majority of the profit.

“I just want to do different stuff, like, try different things, try different business ventures,” he told co-host Charlamagne Tha God. “I got dish detergent. Everybody needs soap.”

“In 2020, I want to give my fans the best work I can give them. The best music, tSouhe best visuals, the best shows. 2020 is the year I just want to give back to my fans,” he continues.
