Nelly issued an apology for a video that was posted on his Instagram page that wasn’t suppose to go public.

The “Hot In Herre” rapper begin trending on Twitter, when an uncensored video of him receiving oral sex from a woman began circulating online.

The video was originally posted on Nelly’s IG Story but it was quickly deleted.

Nelly tells TMZ … “I sincerely apologize to the young lady and her family, this is unwanted publicity for her/them. This was an old video that was private and never meant to go public.”

Nelly’s team is investigating the incident, saying the artist may have been hacked. They’re also concerned that more of Nelly’s private information could be leaked — including financial information, passwords, and personal documents.

The video is still being shared on Twitter.
