Ludacris To Receive Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame


Rapper and actor Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges will be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on Thursday. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will be presenting Ludacris with the 2,656th star, which will be in the motion pictures category.

VP Media Relations, Ana Martinez, explains why “Luda” is one of the greatest MCs to date.

“Ludacris has been a pop culture staple for many years.” She added, “As both a rapper and actor, he has created some of our favorite music and film moments and we’re thrilled to welcome him to our historic landmark.”

Luda began his music career as a radio personality and DJ as Chris Lova Lova on Hot 97.  In 1999, Ludacris released his debut album “Incognegro” through his independent label Disturbing tha Peace.

The Dirty South movement made a name for itself in 2000s when Ludacris signed to Def Jam South. His popular songs included “Act A Fool,” “Move B***h,” “Rollout,” “What’s Your Fantasy,” “Stand Up,” “Area Codes,” and many other hits classics.


Ludacris has also made a name for himself as an actor. He plays the role of Tej Parker, a go-to tech expert, in the Fast And The Furious franchise since 2003.

Luda had noteworthy performances in the End Of The End, Gamer, Crash, Hustler and Flow, and Fred Claus.

Ludacris launched a few business ventures and is a philanthropist who has helped build the community. Fun Fact: Luda is also a licensed pilot.

Currently, Ludacris is on tour with the one and only Janet Jackson and it will conclude in Seattle on June 21, 2023.

In the meantime, Luda will be honored Thursday at 6426 Hollywood Boulevard at 11:30 a.m.
