Larry King Suffers A Heart Attack After Going Into Cardiac Arrest

TV talk show host legend Larry King went into cardiac arrest last Thursday and suffered a heart attack soon after.

According to TMZ, sources with direct knowledge said that Larry had been having difficulty breathing for months and was scheduled to check himself into the hospital Thursday for an angiogram.

They also said the 85-year old talk show host was getting ready to go to the hospital, but then went into cardiac arrest. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where doctors performed an angioplasty. They opened up an artery that had collapsed and inserted several stents.

He was then put in the cardiac intensive care unit and sources tell TMZ we’re he’s expected to be released Monday.

In earlier reports, Larry had been seeing doctors over the last 6 months for the breathing problems but they did not diagnose the severity of the underlying problem.

Larry has had heart issues for 30 years. He’s had 2 heart attacks but has remained vibrant. Keep going Larry! You can do it!
