KEITH DAVID TO BE HONORED AND RECEIVE STAR ON THE HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME JUNE 4

Legendary actor Keith David is finally getting his flowers! 

Keith David became emotional after being selected as part of the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2026, calling the recognition “a wonderful birthday present next year.”

The Emmy Award-winning actor, producer, and iconic voice talent will officially receive the 2,847th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 11:30 AM PT at 6225 Hollywood Boulevard next to the Pantages Theatre in the Motion Pictures category.

The ceremony will feature actress and producer Ryan Bathe as emcee, with guest speakers including Karen Bass, Lynn Whitfield, John Carpenter, and John C. McGinley.

Keith David has built one of the most respected careers in entertainment history, rising to prominence in classics like The Thing, They Live, and the Oscar-winning Platoon. His unforgettable performances also include Requiem for a Dream, Crash, There’s Something About Mary, and Nope.

Television audiences also know him for his powerful role as Bishop James Greenleaf on Greenleaf, along with memorable appearances on Community and Enlisted.

Beyond acting, Keith David earned a Tony Award nomination for Jelly’s Last Jam and has also showcased his talents as a jazz and cabaret vocalist honoring the music of Nat King Cole.
