Jim Jones Saves Photographer’s Life By Giving Him CPR

Rapper Jim Jones is being called a hero after he shared a story about giving his photographer CPR.

In a recent interview with Inside Edition, the rapper and reality star relived the moment his photographer, Jerry Flete, aka Flee Flicks, suddenly collapsed. Jerry was also present to tell the story.

Jim and his team were recently down in Florida at a crypto event for his capo coin when the incident occurred.

“We was just literally just hanging out on a break from work. Just hanging out,” Jerry said. “It just happened so fast. Basically, I woke up, Jim giving me chest compression and telling me, ‘Wake up. Wake up.’ He basically saved my life. I’m here today because of Jim.”

Jim said he was on the phone when he heard his partner Doug call his name frantically. He said he ran to Jerry and immediately started chest compressions.

“I just saw Flee sitting, just going through something that didn’t seem good like he was choking,” Jim said. “He couldn’t breathe, and his eyes was going back in his head, and he was catching a bit of a seizure. I actually didn’t know what was going on. Kind of scared me.”

Jerry added, “The first person I woke up to was just Jim. He was holding me.”

Jim credits saving Jerry’s life to him learning CPR at 12-years.

“When I was younger,” he said, “I had to take these classes for CPR and all that type of things for my little sister who has a heart condition. They needed the whole family to take these special classes before she came home when she was a baby.

“I think all those classes stuck with me all the way to this day because I remember everything vividly they told me to do in certain situations.”

The “We Set The Trends” rapper said the experience made him take his health more seriously. He said he tries to eat 50% better than he did yesterday. Jerry is being more cautious about his health as well. He joins Jim in the gym more.

Jim shared a post about his interview on social media, and in the caption he encourages everyone to learn CPR.

“Love u @flee_flicks but u scared th Sh*t out of me
God is good who else gone capture me when I b havin th Sh*t on lol 😂
On a serious note I encourage everyone to get cpr lessons for u n th family”

Jim said he doesn’t see himself as a hero. He said “Batman is a hero.” But we know, all heroes don’t wear capes.
