Jennifer Beals Joins NCIS: New York as CBS Expands Cast for New Spinoff

CBS has officially expanded the cast of its highly anticipated new crime drama NCIS: New York, announcing that Jennifer Beals has joined the series as a regular alongside previously announced stars LL Cool J and Scott Caan.

Beals, best known for her iconic performances in Flashdance and The L Word, will portray Assistant Special Agent in Charge Robyn Wells, the respected director of the NCIS New York field office. In the series, Robyn Wells oversees high-stakes investigations throughout New York while leading a team that includes LL Cool J’s returning fan-favorite Special Agent Sam Hanna and Scott Caan’s Special Agent Nick Schaeffer, a new character described as a roguish investigator. Together, the team will tackle complex cases centered around one of the world’s busiest ports.

  • Shane Harper has been cast as Wyatt Hill, a talented field agent known for both his investigative skills and his hopelessly romantic nature.
  • Devin Druid will portray Sean Sullivan, a brilliant technology specialist whose independent streak often puts him at odds with authority.

Along with her breakthrough role as Alexandra Owens in Flashdance and her acclaimed portrayal of Bette Porter in The L Word, her recent credits include Devil in a Blue DressLuckiest Girl AliveThe Book of Boba Fett, and Law & Order: Organized Crime. She is also scheduled to appear in the upcoming third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

In addition to starring, he also serves as an executive producer on NCIS: New York.
