Eva Marcille Leaving “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” After Three Seasons

It’s official. Reports have been swirling around stating that Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star Eva Marcille will not be returning to the show’s upcoming season and the model just confirmed saying, “I believe my time is up.”

Eva revealed the news on  the “Ricky Smiley Morning Show.

“I appreciate the bond of friendship that I’ve made with my castmates and strong personal relationships I have with numerous executives and producers of Bravo,” she said on “I am thankful for the opportunity I was provided, however, after speaking with my family and representatives, I believe that what I hope to accomplish for the culture and community will be better served by focusing on other opportunities. I look forward to serving the community on ‘Ricky Smiley Morning Show’ and finding other ways to be a voice during this transformational time during our country for people of color.”

The 35-year old model joined the show during Season 10 (2017-2018) in a friend role and was promoted to a full-time “Housewife” for Season 11 and 12. During her time on the show she married her husband attorney Michael Sterling and they welcomed two sons into the world.

She also shares a daughter, Marley Rae, with her ex Kevin McCall, although she changed Marley’s last name from McCall to Sterling in 2019.

Eva shared, “I decided to spend my time and energy focusing on my kids and my community and not so much reality show business.”

She concluded, “The time that I spent on ‘Housewives’ I enjoyed myself. I cried, I laughed, I obviously fought. Most importantly, I made some great friendships with some beautiful women.”
