Hip-hop mogul Dr. Dre was rushed to the hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm.

According to TMZ sources, Dre experienced the aneurysm on Monday. He was immediately transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by ambulance.

As of Tuesday, the 55-year old producer is recovering. Sources say that he is stable and lucid.

Longtime friend Ice Cube asked his social media followers to pray for his fellow NWA group member.

Dre has had a bit of a rough year. As we previously reported, he is currently in the middle of a nasty divorce from his wife Nicole Young.

Nicole has been demanding that Dre pays $2 million a month for spousal support and $5 million in legal fees. The judge assigned to the case rejected her request. Nicole also asked the judge to reject the prenumptial agreement she signed in 1996. There’s a hearing Wednesday in downtown L.A. on both issues.
