DMX’s 5-Year Old Son Diagnosed With Kidney Disease

Desiree Lindstrom, fiancée of the late iconic rapper DMX, shared that their 5-year old son was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease.

She revealed the news with Raquel Harper on her podcast It’s Tricky. On the show, Raquel asked Desiree about Exodus’ condition.

Exodus is stable. He still has stage 3 kidney disease, and I continue to keep his potassium down.” She added, “He goes to the doctor very often.”

Desiree went on to share the podcast clip on her Instagram, and on Thursday she posted a video of Exodus in support of “Kidney Day.”

In the caption she says, “National Kidney Day…March 10th! Blessings from our family to yours! Exodus is a CKD Warrior and an amazing child! Thanks for all the love and support from @NationalkidneyFoundation

Desiree also shared many other videos with Exodus and DMX before the rapper’s death. DMX (real name Earl Simmons) passed away on April 9, just one week after suffering a heart attack and other complications following a drug overdose.

Sending love and prayers for Exodus as he fights kidney disease.
