Darius McCrary Files Restraining Order Against Ex-Girlfriend

Darius McCrary has filed a restraining order against his ex-girlfriend, who he claims has been ‘terrorizing’ him for a while.

The 46-year-old actor – best known for playing Eddie Winslow in the 1990s sitcom “Family Matters” – had initially filed an order of protection back in August but missed the court date because he was ‘displaced at the time, and had to flee from his ex.

According to The Blast, new court documents were filed and they state that the ex is still ‘terrorizing’ him. He also added that he’s fearful of ending up like comedian Phil Hartman. The “Saturday Night Live” star was shot and killed by his wife, Brynn Omdahl, in May 1998 before killing herself. Omdahl had a crippling cocaine addiction and committed the murder during a drug binge.

McCrary claimed in the August filing that she broke his car window and tried to attack him with a lead pipe.

The woman has not come forward publicly to clear her name, and the restraining order is pending.
