‘Creed III’ Actor, Jonathan Majors, Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting A Woman In New York.

‘Creed III’ actor, Jonathan Majors, has been arrested in New York for allegedly assaulting a woman.

According to police reports, Majors, 33, was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old woman in Manhattan. Majors was taken into custody without incident and charged with strangulation, assault, and harassment. The woman has not been identified but it was reported that the victim is Majors’ girlfriend.

TMZ reported that according to the police, Majors girlfriend saw another woman texting him and confronted him. The victim claimed this made him upset and he allegedly grabbed her hand and allegedly slapped her. Additionally, the victim said that he allegedly put his hands around her neck. Sources state the woman was dropped off and Majors spent the night somewhere else. Since the incident happened on Friday night, the victim reported it Saturday morning.

A rep for Majors reported that “He has done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.”

Jonathan began his career in 2017 when he starred in the limited series When We Rise. When he was cast for this role, he was still pursuing his MFA at Yale School of Drama. He also starred as Damian Anderson in “Creed III” with director and co-star Michael B. Jordan. One of his other recent films, “Magazine Dreams,” was featured at the Sundance festival and was picked up by Searchlight Pictures. This film is set to come in theatres this winter, on December 8th.
