Babyface‘s divorce from his second wife Nicole Pantenburg has been finalized and the settlement included him paying a chunk of money for child and spousal support.

The multi-platinum recording artist filed for divorce back in 2021 and the separation seemed to be amicable; however, the logistics were still being reviewed.

According to reports, the couple has now reached a settlement agreement leaving Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds to cough up $37,000 per month in spousal and child support.

The two have agreed on joint legal and joint physical custody of their daughter Peyton Nicole Edmonds, 14. She is the only child between the couple but the singer also has two other children with former wife and model Tracey Edmonds.

Nicole, who is an actress, will manage her daughter’s credit cards and Babyface will continue paying for his daughter’s health insurance and private school tuition.

Because their daughter will possibly be attending college soon, a settlement was put in place for those expenses as well.

The divorce agreement says that the singer/songwriter will pay 65% of the costs for Peyton to take college tour trips. As for Nicole, will be responsible for 35% of Peyton’s costs and all of her own costs on those trips.

Babyface will also continue paying on their Cadillac Escalade and car insurance.

The 12x Grammy winner is scheduled to sing “America the Beautiful” at the Super Bowl this year so hopefully, this experience will soften the blow of this settlement.
