Bone Thugs-N-Harmony to Receive Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Legendary hip-hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony will officially receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on July 8, 2026, becoming the only hip-hop group selected for the Walk of Fame Class of 2026.

The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. PT at 6200 Hollywood Boulevard, near the iconic intersection of Hollywood & Vine. Radio personality Big Boy will emcee the event, while rapper and actor Xzibit will serve as a special guest speaker.

The Cleveland-bred group will be honored in the Recording category, recognizing the enduring legacy of its five original members: Krayzie BoneLayzie BoneBizzy BoneWish Bone, and Flesh-N-Bone.

Originally performing under the name Bone Enterpri$e, the group caught the attention of legendary rapper Eazy-E, who signed them to Ruthless Records in 1993 after being impressed by their unique blend of rapid-fire lyricism and melodic harmonies.

Their breakthrough came in 1994 with the EP Creepin on ah Come Up, featuring fan favorites Thuggish Ruggish Bone and Foe tha Love of $. The following year, the group reached superstardom with E. 1999 Eternal, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and produced classics including Tha Crossroads, 1st of tha Month, and East 1999.

Released as a tribute to Eazy-E following his death in 1995, Tha Crossroads” became the group’s signature hit. The song spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned the group the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 1997.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony followed that success with the double-platinum album The Art of War, which also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The project featured hit singles including Look into My Eyes, which appeared on the Batman & Robin soundtrack, and If I Could Teach the World.

In a statement, the group reflected on the significance of the honor:

“Receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is a blessing beyond words. Coming from Cleveland, we never imagined that the music we created would touch so many lives around the world. This honor belongs not only to Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, but to our families, our city, our fans, and everyone who believed in us from the beginning. More than three decades later, we’re still here, still creating, and still carrying the legacy forward.”

The celebration doesn’t stop there. Just two days after receiving their star, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony will launch a new concert tour beginning July 10, continuing a remarkable career that has influenced generations of hip-hop artists and fans around the world.

Congratulations to Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on this well-deserved honor. Their legacy continues to stand as one of the most influential and innovative in hip-hop history.
