Pregnant Mother of Two Killed in I-75 Shooting While Driving Home from Work

A pregnant mother of two was tragically killed after being shot while driving along Interstate 75 in Atlanta during rush hour traffic, authorities and family members confirmed.

The victim, identified as 34-year-old Bianca Huntley, was found suffering from gunshot wounds Tuesday afternoon along the northbound lanes of I-75 near North Central Avenue, not far from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Police said officers responded to reports of a person shot and discovered Huntley inside her vehicle. She was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition but later died from her injuries.

Huntley, who was about four and a half months pregnant with her third child, leaves behind two daughters. Family members described her as a loving mother and a “beautiful soul” whose loss has devastated those closest to her.

According to relatives, Huntley had just finished work and was on her way home when the shooting occurred. She worked near the airport and had recently been making strides in her career, including taking on new responsibilities and opportunities.

Investigators believe the shooting may not have occurred where she was found. Police say preliminary findings suggest Huntley could have been shot at a different, still unknown location before ending up on the interstate.

As of now, no suspects have been identified, and the motive remains unclear. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as they continue to piece together what led to the fatal shooting.

Family members are now left grieving an unimaginable loss while calling for justice.

“This situation has torn our family apart,” a relative said, emphasizing the urgent need for accountability.

The investigation remains ongoing.
