Video Shows T-Hood Assaulting Girlfriend Alledgedly Hours Before His Murder

ATLANTA, GA — Newly surfaced video allegedly shows Atlanta rapper T-Hood violently assaulting his girlfriend, Kelsie Frost, before being shot and killed, which explains why the rapper’s murder is being looked at as a potential self-defense case.

Authorities confirmed Friday that the disturbing footage, circulating on social media, appears to capture the 32-year-old rapper striking Frost during a heated argument inside their Georgia residence.

Sources connected to the Frost family claim that this video was recorded earlier this year and that it was not an isolated incident. There are also photos of Kelsie with bruises and scratches on her face, neck, and chest dating back to November 2024.

Also, a woman describing herself as Kelsie’s best friend posted a different surveillance video Thursday — and, similarly, it shows T-Hood pummeling Kelsie.

According to TMZ, police have named Ky Lasheed Frost, Kelsie’s brother, the suspect in T-Hood’s death. Ky and his sister’s parents are the stars of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” Kirk and Rasheeda Frost. Sources say Ky lived in the same apartment building as T-Hood and Kelsie … and last Friday night, he heard another violent outburst in his sister’s unit.

Reports say Ky ran to help his sister, and during the ensuing altercation — between Ky and T-Hood — the fatal shot was fired. Police have said T-Hood was killed during a “domestic disturbance,” and now we know the nature of it.

Authorities responded to a domestic dispute at approximately 7 p.m. on Aug. 8 and discovered the rapper — real name Tevin Hood — suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Gwinnett County Police have surveillance videos from the apartment the night of the shooting, according to sources. Cops say they’re looking at the case as a possible self-defense shooting, and have not arrested Ky.

The shocking video has fueled outrage online, with fans and advocates calling attention to the dangers of domestic violence. Authorities are urging anyone experiencing abuse to seek help immediately.

The case remains under investigation.
