Reality Star Kenya Moore Ordered to Pay More Than $80K in Unpaid Rent for Her Hair Salon

Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kenya Moore is facing a legal and financial setback as a Georgia judge has ordered her business to pay a substantial sum in unpaid rent and utilities tied to her hair salon.

In a dispute with her landlord over overdue payments, the judge ruled that Moore’s business entity, Moore Vision Media, must pay a total of $87,976 — split into two equal installments of $43,988 due by late February and another $43,988.67 due by late March.

The order stems from a lawsuit filed in October 2025 by Northland Chamblee LLC, the landlord of the Atlanta property where Kenya Moore Hair Spa operates, alleging the salon stopped paying rent as far back as December 2024 and fell behind on utilities.

In addition to the lump sum owed, the judge also required Moore’s company to resume paying its regular monthly rent of approximately $5,500 until the business vacates the premises or the issue is resolved in further proceedings.

Legal Battles and Contentions

The landlord claims that Moore’s company failed to make the initial February payment ordered by the court, prompting a request for immediate possession of the property. As of now, the court has not ruled on that eviction request.

Moore’s legal team previously disputed the rent claims, arguing that the landlord failed to fulfill agreed-upon improvements to the space — renovations that Moore maintains were necessary for the property to be usable as a salon. However, the judge’s ruling sided with the landlord’s position.

From Reality TV to Real-World Challenges

Moore, a former Miss USA and one of the more prominent personalities from Real Housewives of Atlanta, opened the Kenya Moore Hair Spa in Atlanta in 2024 with the intention of creating a luxury salon and showcase for her hair care line.

The salon’s financial difficulties — which have been featured in ongoing legal filings — come amid a challenging period for the reality star, including her highly publicized exit from the Bravo series in 2025.

The case remains active, and additional court hearings could determine whether Moore’s company will be forced to vacate the property or face further penalties.
