Will Smith And Martin Lawrence Reunite For ‘Bad Boys 4′

It’s official! Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back together for another epic film. Sony Pictures announced Tuesday that the untitled “Bad Boys” sequel is in early pre-production. Will confirmed the news in a video showing him reuniting with his co-star.

The storyline hasn’t been revealed yet but characters Miami-Dade detectives Mike Lowrey (Will) and Marcus Burnett (Martin), who were first introduced in 1995, are back in the fold. The Blockbuster was followed by a sequel in 2003 and a third installment “Bad Boys for Life” in 2020.

The last box office hit grossed $426 million worldwide, even when the movie industry was crippled by the pandemic. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer is returning for the fourth film, as are “Bad Boys For Life” directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah.

On March 2022, Will won his first Oscar Award this evening; however, the Academy Award committee forced a hefty 10 years punishment penalty against Will after slapping Chris Rock on stage.

In a statement from The Hollywood Reporter, Jerry discussed the situation with Will after the Oscars.

“Absolutely. I mean, Will made a mistake, unfortunately. That’s not who he is.  He’s a phenomenal actor, and there’s always forgiveness in the world. And hopefully, the audience will forgive him.”

Will, Martin, and the “Bad Boys 4”  crew are definitely moving forward with their new motion picture. We will let you know when it happens.
