Will Packer Set To Produce Oscars 2022

Will Packer is adding another accomplishment to his brilliant resume’. The filmmaker and well-known producer has been named Producer of the 94th Annual Academy Awards.

Packer is best known for producing numerous films and TV projects such as: Straight Outta Compton, Ride Along, Girls Trip, the Think Like a Man films and the television remake of Roots.

The Oscars seem to be getting the memo that the award show should be more diverse. Now the question is: will there be more minority nominees and winners? We shall see.

The 2022 Academy Awards is scheduled to air March 27.
