Wendy Williams is living her life! It’s reported that the daytime talk show host has finally had enough and filed divorce papers to separate from husband (real name) Kelvin Hunter and is searching the market for a new home.
According to the divorce docs, Wendy says “irreconcilable differences” led to the end of the couple’s marriage. The docs state a “breakdown” of the marriage over a period of at least 6 months. She wants the court to determine an “appropriate amount” of child support for their son Kevin Jr. who is 18-years old but still enrolled in college.
Sources on Wendy’s talk show told TMZ that Kelvin was served with the divorce papers Thursday morning at the studio, and that extra security was on hand in case he got enraged about the split, but he didn’t.
The couple has been married for over 22 years but the split comes years after rumors and speculations of Kelvin cheating on Wendy and allegedly having a baby girl with his mistress.
Wendy is also on the lookout for a new home in Manhattan. Sources say she wants to get a fresh start after calling it quits on her marriage, and her new digs will help her realize the divorce is real.
For years, Wendy and Kelvin shared a home in New Jersey … but now, sources say that she understands the best thing for her is starting over with some new surroundings … in a new city, which she more than likely received this revelation while living in a NY sober home.
Meanwhile, Kelvin is out and about with his alleged mistress Sharina Hudson, living the good life.
The Daily Mail reported that Kelvin Hunter, 47, was seen driving a new maroon convertible Rolls-Royce on Saturday to pick up Sharina Hudson and take her out to dinner in Edgewater, New Jersey, with Hudson proudly showing off her post baby pooch after giving birth late last month.
The 33-year-old massage therapist, whose hair was freshly curled, carried a $5,200 quilted Chanel purse while wearing a chunky diamond chain necklace and diamond studs.
Hunter has also gifted the new mother with a $215,000-plus gold Ferrari Portofino and seems to have also treated himself to new cars, including the luxury Rolls-Royce. These seem to be a series of push gifts for the new mom.
Now back to Wendy, its been noticed that she wasn’t wearing the massive wedding ring during Thursday’s episode of her show, although she made no mention of filing for divorce. She did make it clear previously on her show to not ask about her marriage until the ring is off her finger. So…can we ask now, sis?
