Ving Rhames Hospitalized After Collapsing at Los Angeles Restaurant

Actor Ving Rhames was rushed to the hospital after collapsing during a medical emergency at a Los Angeles restaurant on Wednesday, according to multiple reports.

The 66-year-old Mission: Impossible star was dining with family when the incident occurred. Witnesses told TMZ that Rhames suddenly collapsed at the table and appeared to be “in and out of consciousness” before emergency responders arrived.

Paramedics were called to the scene around 1:40 p.m. for a man in his 60s and transported him to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A representative for Rhames later indicated the situation may have been caused by overheating. He is reported to be in stable condition and remains under medical observation.

The incident quickly sparked concern among fans, as Rhames is widely recognized for his longtime role as Luther Stickell in the Mission: Impossible franchise, as well as his performances in films like Pulp Fiction and Dawn of the Dead.

No further details about his condition have been released at this time. This remains a developing story.
