Tron Austin, Son of TLC Singer Chilli, Is Engaged
Tron Austin, son of Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas from the 90s R&B group TLC, is now engaged.
The 24-year old proposed to his girlfriend on Valentine’s day and she said “yes!” He shared the exciting news on Instagram.
Tron stated, “4 years ago I met you and it changed my life! Now I will have you forever she said YES βΎππ I love you so much!!! νμ μ¬λ ν κ²! introducing Mr and Mrs. Austinβ€οΈβπ₯”
The proud mom also shared a video of the special moment, with a caption saying “SHE SAID YESSSSππ½ππ½ Oh the JOYππππππππΒ #loveisintheairΒ #fiancé #mysonisengagedΒ @timeflybyeΒ @3astasian“
According to Tron, the couple has been dating for 4 years. There isn’t much information revealed about his bride-to-be other than the fact that she’s Korean and her Instagram bio says Wang Jeong-ah, which could possibly be her name.
The couple seems very much in love and Chilli has expressed her joy for them, so we’re happy too.
Tron’s father, Grammy award-winning producer Dallas Austin, hasn’t publicly congratulated the newly engaged couple yet but he may get to it after he’s done celebrating Valentine’s Day with his own lady.
If you all remember, Chilli had an ongoing relationship with Dallas when he was a producer for TLC. Chilli got pregnant by him when she was 20-years old but had an abortion. Years later, she got pregnant again and Tron was born June 2, 1997.
The story can be seen in TLC’s biopic CrazySexyCool on BET+.
Anywho, Congratulations Tron and Wang!
FYI: Tron is following in his musically gifted parents’ footsteps. He’s also a singer and has music out now. Check him out.
