California authorities have identified the deceased young black girl found in a duffel bag as 9-year old Los Angeles resident Trinity Love Jones.
“Although the Coroner’s Office determined the death to be a homicide, the cause of death is being withheld,” the sheriff’s department statement said. “Investigators have detained two persons of interest in this case and they are actively continuing their investigation.”
After finding out the identify of Trinity, loved ones created a memorial where her body was discovered. In a recent interview, Trinity’s father Antonio Jones described his baby girl as being full of character, full of life, and full of joy. “Words can’t explain what I’m feeling right now,” he said, according to KTLA. “I just want answers. I just want justice.”
This all seem to be a mystery but authorities are still investigating to bring justice and closure. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as the news become available. Our hearts and prayers are with Trinity’s family. R.I.P. Princess Hero.
