Tracee Ellis Ross Joins Eddie Murphy in “Candy Cane Lane”

Tracee Ellis Ross is tapped to join Eddie Murphy in his upcoming holiday film “Candy Cane Lane.”

Variety reports that the movie will be filmed in Los Angeles, produced by Amazon Studios, and directed by Reginald Hudlin. The script, written by Kelly Younger, is inspired by his childhood holiday experiences. Details of Eddie and Tracee’s roles haven’t been revealed yet.

Candy Cane Lane marks a new collaboration between Eddie Murphy and Amazon Studios and is the first project in a 2021 three-picture deal, following the success of Coming 2 America on Prime Video.

Eddie Murphy, who is legendary comedian and actor, first rose to fame as a cast member on Saturday Night Live in the 1980s. He went on to work on a long list of classics. He won many awards, including an Emmy and Grammy.

It’s been reported that Eddie will also be working on a sequel to Beverly Hills Cop.

Tracee is an award-winning actress, producer, and CEO. Throughout eight seasons, for her hit Black-ish, she won a Golden Globe, six NAACP Image Awards, and five Primetime Emmys.

This should be a good movie.
