Stevie J Files For Divorce From Faith Evans

Stevie J and Faith Evans are calling it quits after 3 years of marriage.

According to online Los Angeles court documents, record producer Stevie J filed for divorce from R&B singer Faith Evans.

The couple tied the knot in Las Vegas back in July 2018 during an intimate ceremony in their hotel room. The new union was a surprise to everyone, including their family and friends.

Rumors circulated stating that Stevie and Faith had a rocky marriage but the newlyweds shot them down. There was also a report of Faith being arrested in 2020 for domestic violence after allegedly attacking Stevie.

Six days ago, Faith wished Stevie a happy birthday on Instagram, saying “Happy & blessed birthday Mr J! Hurry up, so we can turn up!” She also still have a photo of the both as her profile picture.

Stevie also shared a birthday post for Faith back in June.

No word on the actual reason for their separation.

This is Stevie’s first divorce, and Faith’s second. She was married to late rapper Notorious B.I.G. until his death in 1997.
