Rihanna Donates $5 Million And Personal Protective Equipment To Help Fight Coronavirus

Rihanna has really been coming through amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The Grammy award-winning artist donated $5 million through her Clara Lionel Foundation to coronavirus relief efforts and she went a bit further by donating protective equipment for the state of New York.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo went to Twitter to thank her.

I want to thank @rihanna and the Rihanna Foundation for donating Personal Protective Equipment to New York State.

We’re so appreciative of your help and that of so many others who have stepped up.

New York has one of the highest number of COVID-19 cases in the country, and many big-name celebrities have been giving to help fight the virus. Even the late Michael Jackson’s estate got in on the relief efforts.
