Condolences and love are pouring out to reality star/entrepreneur Angela Simmons and her son Sutton. Sutton’s Dad, Sutton Tennyson, was shot and killed in Atlanta right in front of his home after an altercation with another individual. There’s not much info coming from this investigation, but this is what we know as of right now.
“ATLANTA — Late Saturday afternoon, Atlanta police found a 37-year-old man dead from multiple gunshot wounds inside a garage at a southwest Atlanta home.
Preliminary investigative information indicates the victim, later identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office as Sutton Tennyson, ex-fiancé of Angela Simmons, had been talking in the driveway at a home in the 600 block of Jewel Drive, S.W., with another man shortly before 5 p.m. Saturday.
Investigators said the conversation escalated and the suspect shot Tennyson several times before leaving the scene in an as-yet unidentified car.
Police are continuing their investigation.
Sutton and Angela called off their engagement in 2017. Bossip reported that Tennyson faced a host of legal issues. He reportedly pleaded “no contest” to a misdemeanor marijuana trafficking charge. And he was also being sued for nonpayment on his car by Ford Motor Company.
Sutton was 37. RIP.”
Angela has released this statement via social media……
“Thank you for the outpouring of love everyone. I can’t believe I’m even saying Rest in Peace Sutton. I promise to hold SJ down in every way I promise.”

The Atlanta PD tells TMZ, they responded to a “shot fired” at Sutton’s home. Officers found him dead in his garage with multiple gunshot wounds. It now seems it was NOT a home invasion. Cops say Sutton was talking in the driveway with another man when the conversation escalated and his was shot. The suspect fled in a car.
