Relentless Church And Redemption Church Reach Settlement In Greenville Property Dispute

A longtime property dispute between Pastor John Gray‘s Relentless Church and Pastor Ron Carpenter‘s Redemption Church has officially ended. The two megachurches have finally come to an agreement regarding the Greenville property.

As previously reported, Pastor Carpenter accused Relentless Church of not making monthly payments for the Haywood location in Greenville. The property is home to Relentless church but Redemption is currently the owner.

Neither parties revealed the actual details of the settlement but they did share that Relentless will remain at the Haywood property while Redemption will be serving at another location in Greenville.

City records currently say that Redemption still owns the Haywood property but Pastor Gray’s attorney Devon Puriefoy says Relentless will be owning it soon. He also revealed that Gray has placed his $1.8 million home on the market to be sold and bought a new Greenville home more fitting for his family.

Both churches are planning on holding weekly services in Greenville.

Carpenter said, “We were fortunate we were able to have a mediation and take all of this out of the hands of the court.” He also added he wishes Relentless well.
