Ozzy Osbourne And Wife Sharon Reveals He Has Parkinson’s Disease

Heavy Metal band Black Sabbath’s front man Ozzy Osbourne revealed Tuesday that he has Parkinson’s disease.

In an interview with Robin Roberts on “Good Morning America,” Osbourne and his wife and manager, Sharon Osbourne, said the rocker was diagnosed with the neurodegenerative disorder last February.

Sharon said her husband — who she married back in 1982 — has the Parkin 2 gene and made it clear that it doesn’t mean he’s on his death bed.

Here’s the entire interview.

Ozzy, real name John Michael Osbourne rose to fame with Black Sabbath and became known as “The Prince of Darkness.”

Unfortunately, drug and alcohol abuse got him fired from the band in 1979, but he became even more successful after releasing nearly a dozen solo albums.

Ozzy has reunited with Black Sabbath on several occasions but is taking some time to focus on his health.
