Nipsey Hussle To Receive Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Nipsey Hussle will be posthumously honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced on Wednesday that a ceremony will take place on what would have been his 37th birthday (August 15). The event will begin at 10 p.m.

Nipsey will be joining the class of 2022, which includes NFL mogul Michael Strahan, actor Michael B. Jordan, and pop group the Black Eyed Peas.

He will be joining other legendary rappers on the Hollywood landmark. Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Diddy, and Ice Cube have been honored in the past. Award-winning rapper Ludacris will also be getting a star in 2023.

Nipsey was tragically shot and killed in March 20219 in front of his Marathon Clothing store in L.A. The convicted killer, Eric Holder, was found guilty of killing the rapper and is waiting for sentencing. He faces up to life in prison.

Nipsey was not just a Hip-Hop artist but an advocate for his community. He made many business deals to build his neighborhood and was working on a development project.

He is still being missed.
