Two of the NBA’s most famous families joined together in Malibu this weekend to celebrate the union of Seth Curry and Callie Rivers.
Seth, the brother of NBA star Steph Curry and son of former basketball player Dell Curry married his beautiful lady Callie who is the daughter of NBA coach Doc Rivers on Saturday.
According to SF Gate, the ceremony and reception featured plenty of involvement from the entire Curry family: Steph and Ayesha served as members of the wedding party, and their daughters Riley and Ryan — as usual — stole the show as adorable flower girls, alongside Seth and Callie’s one-year old daughter Carter.
Seth and Callie opted for a short engagement; they got engaged on Valentine’s Day earlier this year. The proposal happened in front of their family as everyone was gathered in Charlotte for the NBA All-Star weekend.
“I couldn’t be happier,” Doc Rivers told The Undefeated. “He’s such a gentleman. As a father, that is all you want.
He just called me and asked like normal people. I always tell people, ‘We’re all normal people at the end of the day.’ I told him, ‘Great, and absolutely.’ But I think he knew I’d say that. …
“As my mom and dad would say, ‘They’ve just been raised right.’ They [the Currys] are just terrific kids, and that is a credit to Sonya and Dell.”
Video of the Curry family cutting loose at the reception quickly surfaced. Clips show Ayesha and Steph making their grand entrance into the reception venue with some smooth dance moves:

The bride and groom cut in on all the fun as well as they got lit towards the dance floor.
Seth Curry currently plays for the Dallas Mavericks; Callie is also an accomplished athlete. She was a star outside hitter for the Florida women’s volleyball team and briefly played professionally as well.
Seth and Steph’s sister Sydel also married into an athlete family: Her husband Damion Lee plays for the Golden State Warriors.
This is definitely one big happy athletic family. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Curry!
