The comedian, actress, and television personality is expanding her relationship with the company as VH1 has given the green light to a new comedy series, “America’s Funniest People,” while also renewing her hit courtroom comedy series “Ms. Pat Settles It” for a fourth season.
The announcement marks another major milestone for Ms. Pat, who has continued to build an impressive television presence through her partnership with Paramount and BET.
“America’s Funniest People” is expected to showcase some of the funniest and most entertaining personalities while giving Ms. Pat another opportunity to bring her distinctive comedic style to television. The new series is part of an expanded programming partnership between Ms. Pat and Paramount.
Meanwhile, “Ms. Pat Settles It” will return for Season 4. The BET series puts Ms. Pat in the judge’s seat as she presides over entertaining disputes involving real people, with celebrity personalities and comedians joining her as jurors.
The show originally premiered on BET in October 2023 and has become another important part of Ms. Pat’s television career. The series blends courtroom-style disputes with comedy and celebrity appearances.
Ms. Pat’s television résumé also includes “The Ms. Pat Show,” the BET+ sitcom inspired by her life and experiences. The series has continued to expand its relationship with Paramount, with a sixth season announced in 2026 and a move to Paramount+ planned for the new season.
