Marla Gibbs To Receive Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

It’s time to celebrate the legacy of a queen! Marla Gibbs will be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The 90-year old legendary actress responded to the news on Instagram. In the next slide, she’s talking directly to her fans, announcing the achievement.

Gibbs is best known for her roles in sitcoms The Jeffersons (as Florence the Maid) and 227 (as Mary Jenkins).

In June, The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce board of directors announced their 2021 Walk of Fame class, which includes: Marla Gibbs, Nick Cannon, Morris Chestnut, Salt-n-Pepa, Judge Greg Mathis, and many more.

Marla Gibbs’ ceremony will take place on the Hollywood strip on July 20th at 11:30 am PT. Congratulations, Ms. Gibbs!
