Man Arrested In Shooting Deaths of His 4 Children and Mother-In-Law

A man has been arrested in the shooting death of his four children and their grandmother.

The suspect, 29-year old Germarcus David, is currently in police custody on a $2 million bail. David was a licensed security guard whose firearm permit was canceled, according to the Los Angeles Times.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the deadly shooting happened on November 28th around 10:30 p.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the children’s grandmother, a woman in her 50s, and the young victims suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso. All four children (three boys and one girl) were under the age of 12, including an infant.

The names of the victims haven’t been released yet, nor the motive for the murders.

David’s Facebook page is full of inspirational messages, which doesn’t align with the actions he took Sunday night but according to officers he turned himself in. A motive hasn’t been revealed yet.

David is due to appear in Antelope Valley Court on Tuesday.
