Louie Anderson, who many may remember from his role on Coming to America, is currently in a Las Vegas hospital battling cancer.

According to Louie’s representative, the actor-comedian was diagnosed with a common non-Hodgkin lymphoma cancer. Although this is an aggressive form of cancer, it is treatable.

His rep says that he is resting comfortably.

It’s unclear when Louis found out he had cancer but he is clearly putting his health first.

During the pandemic, he revealed that he lost 30-40 pounds due to intermittent fasting while sharing videos doing water aerobics.

In the meantime, Louie has also been staying busy with his career. He continues to do standup throughout the country, and he revamped his role as a McDowell employee on the new “Coming 2 America.”
