Things are not looking too good for Loni Love. As you all may have heard, word on the street is that The Real co-host had Tamar Braxton fired from the show years ago but it was never proven.
Well, now folks who were very close to Loni at the time are speaking out on the situation saying that it’s true.
Two weeks ago, Cookie Hull — a friend and comedian who wrote material for Loni — sat down with Comedy Hype and revealed that she actually saw Loni email the network to get Tamar fired.
Of course Loni denied all of this and did so while on air — without mentioning Cookie’s name — saying that she was lying. She begins discussing it at the 1:04 mark.
Cookie responded with this post:
Now another person has come forward to call Loni out and defend Cookie. A celebrity hairstylist — named @niccis_closet on Instagram — said that she has witnessed Loni telling Cookie that she wanted Tamar off the show.
Nicci wants to make it clear that she supports black comedians but doesn’t like seeing them tear each other down.
The hair stylist went on to say:
This is heartbreaking. There’s enough success for everyone — and women (especially black women) should always be in support of each other.
