Kyla Pratt Speaks On “Proud Family” Reboot: ‘Can’t Have A Remake Without The OG’s’
As you all may have heard by now, Disney is bringing back the “Proud Family,” and according to actor/comedian Tommy Davidson who is the voice for Oscar Proud, the hit series will be streaming on Disney+ app.
He said in an interview with Where is the Buzz that the show will be airing new episodes. “They told me not to tell nobody.” Oops!
Now actress Kyla Pratt, who is the voice of Penny Proud, went to her Instagram and confirmed the reboot with original cast members in tow.

The Proud Family originally aired on The Disney Channel from 2001 to 2005, featuring Kyla Pratt as the voice of Penny Proud, a 14-year-old girl trying to navigate her way through junior high school.
The hilarious show put smiles on the faces of so many viewers in those few years, so we can’t wait for the new generation to meet Penny, Oscar, Trudy, Sugar Mama, and the rest of the crew once it begins streaming on Disney+, which officially comes out in November!
