Former NBA champion and longtime Inside the NBA analyst Kenny “The Jet” Smith is officially a married man once again after tying the knot with Croatian influencer Tia Jurcic in a picturesque ceremony overlooking the California coast.
The couple exchanged vows on Tuesday, August 4, at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast, California. They announced the happy news with a joint Instagram post featuring photos from their wedding day, captioned simply, “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.”
The luxurious outdoor ceremony featured elegant white décor, chandeliers suspended above the altar, and lavish arrangements of pink and white roses. Jurcic wore a strapless floral ball gown, while Smith opted for a classic white tuxedo jacket paired with black trousers and a black bow tie.
Smith, 61, and Jurcic, 41, reportedly began dating in early 2024 and announced their engagement in October 2025 after more than two years together. Their relationship first gained public attention through social media and appearances at sporting events.
Earlier this year, Smith shared the unique story of how the couple met during an appearance on Big Boy’s Neighborhood. He recalled meeting Jurcic’s son, Domenik, while attending an event in Abu Dhabi. After taking a photo with the aspiring basketball player, Smith caught Jurcic’s attention, leading to a conversation that eventually blossomed into romance.
This marks Smith’s third marriage. The two-time NBA champion was previously married to Dawn Reavis, with whom he shares two children, and later to model Gwendolyn Osborne, with whom he has two additional children. Jurcic has also been married previously and shares a son with former basketball player Chris Warren.
Known as one of basketball’s most recognizable television personalities, Smith has remained a staple of NBA coverage for decades following his successful playing career, which included back-to-back NBA championships with the Houston Rockets.
