Saturday Night Live star Kenan Thompson and his wife Christina Evangeline have decided to call it quits after 11 years of marriage. The Good Burger alum and Christina are planning to file for divorce soon. 

According to TMZ, “sources close to the couple” said the couple has been separated for over a year. Both are doing extremely well and are co-parenting their two daughters, Georgia and Gianna. 

On the subject of becoming a father, the comedian told People Magazine:

“One day you’re not a dad and then the next moment you are. You’re just a dad from that point on. And definitely, my coolness just got sucked right out of me. I didn’t know … I didn’t even feel it, but I just immediately started wearing black socks and shorts and just being really corny at stores and over-asking questions about items that are super obvious and in my face.”

The former All That star, 43, and the interior designer/model, 33, married in November 2011 in the Arctic Room of the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta.

According to sources, Kenan has been living in Los Angeles while Christian stays in New York.

The actor is presently filming his sitcom, Kenan, which can be seen on NBC.
