Kanye West Joins Protesters In Chicago And Donates $2 Million To Arbery, Taylor, And Floyd Families
Kanye West is playing a major role in taking a stand against the social injustice in America. Earlier, TMZ reported that the Grammy award-winning artist donated a total of $2 million on Thursday to the families of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd.
He also set up a college fund for Floyd’s 6-year old daughter Gianna. He established a 529 education plan to fully cover college tuition for Gianna Floyd.
It’s also reported that he made a separate donation to help cover the legal costs for the Arbery and Taylor families as well.
Shortly after news of Kanye’s donation was made public, the Jesus Is King artist was spotted at a protest in hometown of Chicago on Thursday.
