Legendary songwriting and production duo Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are getting ready to take their final bow in Las Vegas.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees have announced the last seven performances of their acclaimed “Nothing But Hits” residency at Voltaire inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. The newly scheduled dates come after the duo rescheduled performances that were originally planned for this summer.
Fans will have one final opportunity to experience the hitmakers live on September 23, 25, 26 and 30, followed by October 1, 2 and 3. The intimate nightclub-style venue has become the perfect setting for the pair’s unique blend of live music and storytelling, celebrating more than four decades of chart-topping success.
Joining Jam and Lewis on stage will once again be American Idol winner Ruben Studdard and Star Search champion Shanice, who perform many of the iconic songs the duo wrote and produced throughout their legendary careers. Audiences can expect beloved classics including “Escapade,” “Can You Stand the Rain,” “Human,” and “Saturday Love.”
Beyond the music, Nothing But Hits offers fans an inside look at the creative process behind some of pop and R&B’s biggest records. Jam and Lewis share personal stories, studio memories and behind-the-scenes moments that shaped the songs that defined generations.
The residency has also become known for its surprise guest appearances. Earlier performances featured artists including Yolanda Adams, Ledisi, Chanté Moore, Stokley, Force MD’s and Ann Nesby, making each show a unique experience for audiences.
Across their remarkable career, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis have produced 42 Billboard No. 1 hits and contributed to more than 100 gold, platinum, multi-platinum and diamond-certified albums. They are perhaps best known for their groundbreaking collaborations with Janet Jackson, including her landmark albums Control and Rhythm Nation 1814.
Tickets for the final performances are on sale now through Voltaire at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.
