Gospel music is making history in Las Vegas.
Some of the biggest names in gospel music are coming together for a groundbreaking event this fall as Fred Hammond, The Clark Sisters, and Deitrick Haddon headline the “Legends of Gospel: Vegas Residency,” the first-ever gospel music residency on the iconic Las Vegas Strip.
The highly anticipated residency will kick off October 8-9, 2026, at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, marking a historic moment for gospel music and its place on one of the world’s biggest entertainment stages.
Produced by IKON Presents in partnership with Dr. Holly Carter, President and CEO of Relévé Entertainment, the residency aims to celebrate gospel music’s rich legacy while introducing the genre to new audiences in the Entertainment Capital of the World.
Fred Hammond recently shared his excitement on Instagram, writing:
“Excited to do this FOX interview in my hometown of Detroit! It’s always an honor to represent Detroit, Michigan and my adopted home of Dallas, Texas. Looking forward to an incredible Las Vegas residency October 8-9 with The Clark Sisters, myself and my little brother Deitrick Haddon. Book your tickets now at GospelVegas.com. Tickets are on sale now.”
The opening weekend features three of gospel’s most influential artists sharing one Las Vegas Strip stage for the very first time.
Leading the lineup are The Clark Sisters—Jacky Clark Chisholm, Karen Clark Sheard, Dorinda Clark-Cole, and Twinkie Clark—the highest-selling female gospel group in history. With timeless classics like “You Brought the Sunshine” and “Livin’,” the legendary quartet has inspired generations of fans around the world.
Joining them is Grammy-winning gospel icon Fred Hammond, whose decades-long career has earned him numerous Grammy, Stellar, and Dove Awards while producing some of gospel music’s most beloved songs.
Rounding out the powerhouse lineup is Deitrick Haddon, the award-winning singer, songwriter, pastor, and actor known for pushing creative boundaries while remaining one of gospel’s most dynamic performers.
“For years, I have envisioned bringing the Gospel to Las Vegas on this scale,” said Dr. Holly Carter in a statement. “To now unite legendary artists in a groundbreaking residency is more than a milestone—it’s a moment. And I thank God for it. I finally get to fully step into my creativity and bring this vision to life.”
The residency also represents the next chapter for gospel music following successful national tours in recent years. The Clark Sisters and Fred Hammond previously reunited during The Reunion Tour in 2024 alongside Marvin Sapp, Kirk Franklin, and Kierra Sheard, while Hammond and Haddon were among the featured performers on the Detroit Gospel Legends Tour in 2025.
Now, instead of taking gospel music on the road, Las Vegas is becoming its destination.
Organizers say the Legends of Gospel: Vegas Residency will continue beyond opening weekend with future performances featuring more of gospel music’s biggest stars, creating an ongoing celebration of faith, music, and culture on the Las Vegas Strip.
