Ice Cube Turns Down $9 Million Movie Role After Declining COVID-19 Vaccine

Ice Cube is turning down a $9 million paycheck because he’s saying ‘no’ to getting vaccinated.

The legendary rapper and actor is refusing to get the shot and is passing on a starring role in the upcoming film Oh Hell No.

Cube and actor Jack Black signed on to the Sony project back in June, and at some point after, producers reportedly put in a request for all cast to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Although Cube isn’t taking the vaccination, he has been pretty consistent in other areas with preventing a spread during this pandemic.

He donated face coverings to a college in Oklahoma in August, and raised money for frontline healthcare workers at the beginning of the outbreak by selling shirts picturing him with a mask.

As far as the film, Sony is currently looking for someone to replace Ice Cube. Wonder if Chris Tucker is available.
