Holly Robinson Peete To Receive A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Actress Holly Robinson Peete will join many other greats in receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 

She will be presented with the 2,725th star and this honor is well-deserved. 

Peete has been working in the entertainment industry for four decades, acting in shows such as 21 Jump StreetHanging with Mr. Cooper, and For Your Love. She got her start on Sesame Street in 1969. Other TV credits include her reality TV shows For Peete’s Sake and Meet the Peetes.

She also starred in some films like DummyHoward the Duck, and Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland where she played the great Diana Ross.

The Hollywood star is also a philanthropist who started a foundation with her husband of 27 years, Rodney Peete.

The HollyRod Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness and providing resources to families that have a loved one who has received an autism or Parkinson’s Disease diagnosis.

They started the foundation after her father was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. She has also been vocal about autism, after learning her son Rodney Peete, Jr. was autistic when he was 3-years old.

She shares 4 children with her husband — twins, daughter Ryan Elizabeth Peete and son Rodney, Jr., 24, and sons Robinson Peete, 19, and Roman Peete, 17.

Peete’s ceremony will take place June 21 and will feature guest speakers Magic Johnson and Levar Burton.
