“Gorilla Glue Girl” Tessica Brown Gets Glue Removed From Hair By Surgeon

The Gorilla Glue saga has come to a happy ending. Tessica Brown, also known on social media as “Gorilla Glue Girl,” has successfully gotten the adhesive removed from her hair.

As previously reported, the Louisiana woman went viral after applying Gorilla Glue adhesive spray to her hair. She said after washing it 15 times for a month, her hair would not budge.

Since then she’s been through the wringer … suffering severe headaches, while her scalp burned intensely. The home remedies didn’t work either.

Tessica also went to the emergency room seeking help but nothing could give her relief.

The mishap caused an outpouring of concern by many, including Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Obeng. The good doctor offered to perform the $12,500 surgery for free.

Tessica was under a light anesthesia during the procedure.

After 4 hours, Dr. Obeng removed all glue from Tessica’s hair, and he managed to save some as well.

TMZ was able to shoot the entire procedure.

Dr. Obeng explained the steps he and his team took to safely remove the adhesive. He explained combining medical grade adhesive remover, aloe vera, olive oil and a dash of acetone removed the glue.

Tessica was so overwhelmed with emotion after her procedure, and we’re so happy for her.
