“Full House” Star Bob Saget Dead At 65

Bob Saget, who was best known for his role as Danny Tanner in the hit show Full House has died. He was 65-years old.

According to TMZ sources, the comedian and actor was found dead at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando on Sunday. The cause of death is unclear at the moment.

The Sheriff’s Department and Fire Rescue were called to the scene around 4 pm when hotel security found Bob unconscious in his room.

According to Bob’s social media pages, he was just beginning his music and standup comedy tour.

He even shared a post about his Saturday night performance.

In ABC’s Full House, Bob played a widowed father raising his three young daughters. The show ran for almost 10 years — 1987-1995.

Other stars in the show were John Stamos, who played his brother, Dave Coulier, Danny’s friend, and TV daughters, Candace CameronJodie Sweetin and twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who swapped the duties of portraying Michelle.

Bob’s character Danny Tanner was portrayed as an upstanding guy who always had a message behind every lesson; however in real life, his comedy acts were a little more risque.

Bob also was a staple in the long-running show America’s Funniest Home Videos. He hosted the show from 1989-1997.

He reprised his role as Danny Tanner in Netflix’s Fuller House, which ran for 4 years and ended in 2020.

Bob also appeared on many other shows such as Entourage, How I Met Your Mother, and most recently The Masked Singer.

Bob is survived by his wife, Kelly Rizzo, and 3 children.
